Panza del Artista is a unique bed & breakfast in Cusco. Run by the Romero's, a family of strong artistic and musical roots in the neighborhood, you too will feel a part of the Cusco community after several nights here. Staying at Panza del Artista – loosely translated as Belly of the Artist, point of inspiration and exploration – you have immediate access to a world of insider information and resources of a local family.

Our open, two-home compound – with gardens, views, comfort and privacy – functions as a relaxing base from which to explore the surrounding neighborhood: working class, humble and honest.  At Panza you feel immersed in a local’s world where the creative soul or the restless spirit can find inspiration and comfort in this uniquely ancient city.

While not a high-end boutique hotel, we are still attuned to detail, provide comfort and value, offer convenience and community in a city with plenty of cheap distractions or expensive alternatives.  Basic English is available, but not encouraged –when we started our B&B, it was our intention to show the real Cusco, available to those curious what lies beyond the main Plaza’s tourist veneer.
